Planning and Achieving Quality Objectives

A requirement of ISO 9001:2015,  clause 6.2 is for organizations to establish quality objectives at relevant functions, levels and processes needed for their quality management systems.   The ISO 9001:2015 standard and other recently revised standards such as, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, IATF 16949, AS9100D, AS9120B require that in addition to establishing quality objectives, organizations must define the following:

– What will be done

– What resources will be required

– Who will be responsible

– When it will be completed

– How the results will be evaluated
