ISO Provides Free Standards to Support Global COVID-19 Response

In order to support global COVID-19 response efforts, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is providing free access to several key international standards. These free standards focus on supporting organizations that are directly or indirectly engaged in the fight against novel coronavirus. These international standards cover ventilators, electrical and respiratory equipment, protective clothing and business continuity. The free standards offered include:

 

• ISO 10651-3:1997, Lung Ventilators for Medical Use

• ISO 13485:2016, Medical devices

• ISO 13688:2013, Protective Clothing

• ISO 22301:2019, Security and Resilience – Business Continuity
