When I started The ISO 9001 Group in 2010, my passion was to share my experience of successfully designing, implementing and achieving certifications with other organizations. Working for Nabors International and Fugro Consultants over a 15 year career, I have been involved in almost all facets of the Oil & Gas Industry holding positions as coordinator, supervisor and ultimately Manager, so I understand the challenges that many organizations encounter on a daily basis. Throughout my career, I have travelled throughout North America, South America, The Middle East and Africa working to effectively implement management systems. While at Nabors, I successfully implemented ISO 9001 in over 23 countries. I was recruited by Fugro Consultants to design and implement ISO 9001 in over 16 offices, which I was able to achieve in 12 months with zero major findings.
I know that implementing management systems can be an intimidating experience, so I work every day to provide clients with practical and economical solutions that are proven to work. My focus is to educate and make your organization self-sufficient. I do not believe in taking advantage or exploiting clients for financial gain. Since I started The ISO 9001 Group, I have had the privilege to provide services to organization such as: Shell, Transocean, JR Simplot, Oceaneering, Hewlett-Packard, The Department of Veteran Affairs, Cameron, Halliburton and numerous other medium and small size clients throughout the United States and internationally. I have been able to acquire invaluable business experience, which I utilize to assist clients in overcoming their management system challenges on a daily basis.
Me and my team of consultants have a 100% success rate in assisting clients implement or achieve certifications for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 17025, API Spec Q1, API Spec Q2 and other management systems. One major difference of The ISO 9001 Group, is that I don’t believe in directly aligning the company with certification bodies and we don’t participate in “pay-to-play” structures. This is the only way to ensure that we have our clients’ best interest at heart and maintain objectivity. In fact, many of the consultants, auditors and trainers we utilize are the same ones used by certification bodies, such as API and DNV.
I earned my MBA from the University of Houston and my Bachelors of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. I have undergone specialized training in the areas of: Quality Management, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Lead Auditing, Root Cause Analysis, Project Management, OSHA Compliance, Operational Safety Management and Behavioral Based Safety. I am certified by Exemplar (RAB-QSA) as a Principal Management Consultant. I also sits on various industry boards and committees.
I am a Senior Member of the American Society for Quality and have also served as the Programs Committee Chair for ASQ’s Houston Chapter 1405. I have conducted keynote presentations for several organizations such as, The American Society for Quality, Offshore Well Control Conference, UBM Canon, Occupational Health & Safety.com and Human Resources.com. My articles have been published by publications such as, Quality Progress (QP) and Quality Digest.
