Houston, Texas – The ISO 9001 Group is pleased to announce that it is now an ISO 9001:2015 Certified company. Achieving certification means the company has implemented an ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, and has demonstrated compliance to the ISO 9001 standard.

ISO 9001:2015, published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), is one of the world’s most internationally recognized standards. The goal of pursuing and achieving ISO 9001 certification was to formalize the company’s quality management system, which has been in place since July-2014 to support its growing client-base and team members. In addition, the system will assist in improving internal controls, improving operations and reducing risks.

As The ISO 9001 Group provides consulting for its clients, the certification process was probably not as daunting of a task, but the process did provide its share of challenges and discoveries for improvement. Designing and implementing the formal ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System did require time, effort and dedication from every team member. The ISO 9001 Group’s formal journey to certification began in April of 2018, with a review of our processes and procedures. Conformance Manger™, the company’s proprietary web-based software, was utilized to ensure the management system was audit ready. After approximately four months of implementation, The ISO 9001 Group underwent Stage I and Stage II certification audits by SAI Global in September of 2018.  We were pleased to pass both stages with zero findings or opportunities for improvement.  Our SAI Global auditor was very impressed with our robust systems and the effectiveness of our QMS.
